Tetris, an electronic puzzle created in 1984 by Alexey Pajitnov, a
russian informatician. Since the game was made on russian controled
land, inside a governement possessed building during the communist era,
poor Alexey couldn't get anything from that game exept his name placed
as the official creator of the game. It lasted until 1996(long after
the fall of communism). During that year, Alexey regain the control of
his creation and created the Tetris Company.

Lets simply say that the company was an easy way for him to reclaim all
copyright registration for Tetris in the entire world. With all the
copyrights in his pocket, he could finaly make some profit out of his
idea, by loaning the right to other company(Nintendo, to name only one).
We must give to Alexey what belong to Alexey, and many of us will
agree that he deserve all the credit for such a good game.
